What a wonderful Literacy Week at Lakeview. The energy level and excitement around the school was contagious with so many fun and exciting activities taking place throughout the week. Everyday brought us a new adventure and a fresh entry into Literacy activities. The Indigenous stories were terrific, the window displays and thoughtful activities are going up and not to mention all of the other fun activities. Hopefully your families enjoyed participating in Literacy bingo at home. Today wrapped up with our big reading event and our pledges of continuing our Literacy focus are adding to our outside displays. A big thank-you goes out to our Literacy Committee, Ms. Chung, Ms. Knapp and Ms. Savard, for pulling all of this together – and I think Ms. Chung really enjoyed getting all of those prizes!
