This project was a lesson on reaching out to the community. To begin with students thought about the plight of our seniors during COVID. It allowed them to reflect on what our seniors may have contributed to society throughout their long lives and the injustice of their current circumstances – lonely and isolated amongst other feelings.
Each student wrote a poem and carefully created a piece of artwork with a senior in mind. Students though the these gifts would bring smile to faces.
