September at Lakeview – What Do We Expect
What will our First Week Activities look like: Growth Mindset – All year we will be focusing as a school on having a Growth Mindset and the weeks activities will be strengthening the concept to all of us as a community. As the year progresses, we will dig deeper into core ideas about Growth Mindset.
Tuesday September 6th, 8:55 to 10:00:
Return to previous classroom for attendance and check-in.
Wednesday September 7th, 8:55-3:00
Return to previous classroom for attendance and then students placed in groups for the week (grades 1-3 and grade 4-7).
Rotations to different teachers and guest authors who will each be doing different activities based on Growth Mindset.
Dismissal from new temporary classroom (we will have lists about pickup location).
Thursday September 8th and Friday September 9th. 8:55-3:00 on Thursday, 2:00 on Friday
Start and end each day at new temporary classes and continue with rotations.
*look for emails in August and check Website for updated information – Note Friday is 2:00 dismissal
